I just watched Troy.

And you know what? I fucking loved it. I loved every damned minute of the sweaty-gorey-passionate-Orlando Bloom-Brad Pitt-Eric Bana-Pubic-bone-seeing action.

I loved it, you understand? It was suspenseful, I thought, and really well played. I heard it wasn't true to the actual story, which doesn't suprise me because it's Hollywood, but that, to me, doesn't make it a bad movie. Actually, I heard that to anyone who has actually read and really liked the original story wouldn't like this, for that reason alone.

I don't care. I thought it was magnificent.

As a final note: I wish I was Helen of Troy in that movie. Or Briseis.
